You can easily pin someone else’s comment on Instagram but not your own. If you are using the Instagram app on your Android phone or iPhone, and want to pin the comment using it, then you can do so by following the steps given below-
- Open the Instagram app on your device. Ensure you are logged into your Instagram account. If not, then you will have to log in using your account credentials.
- Open any of your Instagram posts on which you want to pin the comment. Open the post, and then tap on View All Comments option.
- Now, search for the comment you want to pin. Swipe left the comment that you want to pin, and then tap on the thumb pin icon. Do note swipe all the way to the left as this will delete the comment.
- The comment will now be pinned to the top, and you will see the Pinned label to it.
To unpin the comment, swipe left the pinned comment as you did previously. After doing so, tap on the Unpin icon to unpin the comment.
Pin Own Comment On Instagram Live
- While going live on your Instagram, type and post the comment.
- Select the comment you want to pin, and then tap on Pin comment. After doing the comment will be pinned to your live video.
